Monster Toothbrush Toothpaste Holder

I made a toothbrush and toothpaste holder. I was thinking of what I should design next as a fun project when I went to brush my teeth and my cup fell and broke. I thought it would be cool to make something that can be cute and fun. I am a student at North Broward Preparatory school and we are all about finding new innovative ways to learn. This was a fun side project that I created in Fusion 360!

For this project, you will need any kind of 3d cad software, and a 3d printer.

First, create a cylinder with an 80mm diameter, and around a 40mm height. This varies for your toothbrushes. You now have the optional step of using a spiral to make little arms. This adds to the final product as the toothpaste will be held in a way that it looks like it could be a "tail" for our monster.

Use the "hole" tool to create a hole. You can use any kind of hole, but make sure you have an inner diameter of around 40, and you leave a couple of mm at the bottom. It is optional, but I added threading inside for aesthetics.

Measure your toothpaste cap and then use a circle and the "cut" feature to create a hole at the bottom back of the monster. This is where we will insert the tip of the cap to make a toothpaste tail.

Yay! You managed to design your own monster! Now just through your file on the printer and BAM! Make sure you pick a nice filament color that fits your monster! I chose green.
