Mom's Campers Eggs

So when I was young I remember my mom making what she called "Campers Eggs" and figured I'd give it a try after all those years and share it in the breakfast speed challenge.

Supplies

Stove Top

Pan

Butter

Bread

Eggs

Hole Bread

Add a hole, about the size of the egg or yolk into the middle of the bread. To make it clear and simple, I used a shot glass.

Butter Bread

Butter both sides of the bread.

Grease Pan and Add Bread and Egg

Use some butter to grease the pan a little but, add the bread and then crack an egg into the hole.

Cook and Flip

This is going to depend on how you like you eggs, but I like mine at least over easy, not runny, but without cooking the yolk fully. So cook for a bit, then flip and cook the other side.

Cut Open and Enjoy

Out of the pan and onto the plate, that's all there is to it. Crack it open and enjoy your eggs and toast all in one tasty combination.
