A good friend asked me to print some parts for a "Miss Fortune" cosplay dress. Based on pictures I then designed these parts, as there are the star shapes for the head, neck, arms, back, belt and shoes. Also the parts that will be attached to the side of "Miss Fortune's" gun .

Supplies

For finishing the printings:

  • Superglue
  • Sandpaper

For painting:

  • Primer
  • Acrylic varnish (maybe red and gold)

For mounting:

  • Needle
  • Thread
  • Hot glue

3D Printer settings:

  • Printer brand: Prusa
  • Printer: I3 MK3S, Prusa Mini
  • Rafts: No
  • Supports: No
  • Resolution: 0,2
  • Infill: 10%
  • Filament brand: ICE
  • Filament color: Romantik Red, Young Yellow
  • Filament material: PLA

To achieve clean surfaces on the exteriors of the finished parts, all parts are cut in half. The flat side lies on the printer plate. This allows printing without any supports.

Except for „belt buckle.stl“ and „gun.stl“ one top and one bottom part must be printed.

The following files must be printed 2x (for both arms, both shoes and both sides of the pistol):

  • arm_back.stl
  • arm_top.stl
  • shoe_back.stl
  • shoe_top.stl
  • gun.stl

Gluing Front and Back Parts

The individual parts are marked with T (top) and B (back) and an alignment sign (<).

The top and bottom parts are then glued together flush with superglue.

When you have glued the parts. you can sand them - if necessary - with fine sandpaper.

Colors

As for the color scheme, it is not easy to give exact details, because they look different in pictures. I recognize primarily the colors red ... and gold on the borders. Since I'm printing the parts for a friend, I don't want to give her any preference in this regard, so I'll leave them unpainted. Therefore, I show here only 3D rendered views of the "finished" parts.

All star objects have 4 holes (Ø 2mm) on the back, where you can pull through threads for fastening with the help of a sewing needle!

As for the attachment of the parts "belt buckle.stl" and "gun.stl", they must be glued to the belt, respectively to the gun. I recommend to do it with hot glue.

Have fun performing "Miss Fortune"!
