mini wrench how-to and getting started with fusion MILLER

Follow instructions in video to save your design to the cloud and make the wrench

If you get stuck check

  • are you in the Sketch profile or the Solids profile?
  • are you making your shape that you want to extrude all in one sketch?
  • if the lines are in separate sketches Fusion will nopt recognize them as one shape
  • right click sketches to re-define sketch planes if your sketch is not appearing the area you want it to

Export Your Designs to Send

On the video it shows you how to do this but you should hit file > export and export your file to you computer in 2 ways

  1. .f3d file - this is the fusion file so I can see your work
  2. .stl file - this is the "printing" file so I can send your model to the 3D printer

BOTH of these files need to be submitted to your folder that you have shared with me for each project.

Any file you want printed (.stl file) needs to be shared to the google form (found on D2L) to be printed.
