Meatball Calzone
If you love meatballs and you love pizza then this is the perfect recipe for you. It is a perfect way to get rid of your leftover meatballs and it tastes just like pizza. The prep is super quick and the cooking time is only 12-15 minutes. So if you're hungry now and don't want to wait long to cook then lets get going.
Supplies
Pizza dough
Cornmeal
Pizza sauce
10 meatballs
Pizza cheese
Parchment paper
Cookie sheet
Pre-heat Oven and Get a Pan Ready
To start preheat your oven to 450 degrees. While your oven is heating up, grab a pan and put parchment paper on it.
Prep Your Pan
Take your pan with parchment paper on it and pour 1 cup of cornmeal on it. Then spread the cornmeal around on the paper.
Get Dough Ready
Now take your dough and make a pizza shape with it. Then take the dough and put it on the pan. Make sure that you cover the whole bottom of the dough with cornmeal.
Spread Pizza Sauce
Take 1 cup of pizza sauce and spread it so that it covers the dough but leave a little bit of space on the sides so that after you put everything on it you can pinch it shut.
Put the Meatballs and Cheese On
Now cut up 10 meatballs and put them on half of the dough. Next, take 8oz of pizza cheese and spread it on top of the meatballs so that it covers them.
Fold the Dough
Now fold the dough over the meatballs and cheese and take the edges of the dough and pinch the seams shut. Then take a knife and score the top of the dough.
More Cheese on Top
Now take half a cup of pizza cheese and sprinkle it on top so that it covers the top.
Bake for 12-15 Minutes
Take the pan and put it in the oven and let it bake for 12-15 minutes.
Now You're Done
At the end of the 12-15 minutes take it out of the oven and let it cool for 2 minutes. Then you are done!
