Measuring Furniture With a Laser Level

Use laser level to measure furniture position and DIY cabinets.

Hello the basic idea that I'm going to show you today is that we are going to use a known guide line to measure the item that we want to make and that guide line comes in the form of a laser level now these are great because they Projecting a perfectly flat straight and horizontal line, we can then use this line to measure to the unstable wall from any direction, we know we're getting a perfectly straight and square cross section through what we're measuring, we can take and then Draw it on CAD or on your workbench and know that the project we're making is going to really fit because we've measured it from a level reference, I'm using a Huepar laser level which is pretty good I've bought Good quality and cheap.

Go into the room and determine where you want the front of the furniture to be then position the laser level so that one of the vertical lines is perfectly on the plane you want it to be and mark where the intersections are and mark the walls at various locations preferably top bottom and the middle, and then that position will extend that line.

Use the laser level's reference line as a baseline and use a measuring tool, such as a tape measure, to measure the distance between other objects or room elements and the reference line. Record measurements, either using pen and paper or a measurement app, to ensure accuracy and consistency.

The measurements are analyzed and applied to the corresponding design or layout as necessary. For furniture measurement, you can choose the right size furniture or adjust the position of the furniture based on the measurement results. For house measurements, you can use the measurements to develop a floor plan or do space planning.

Using a laser level to measure furniture or an entire house can provide greater accuracy and efficiency, but it still requires caution and accurate measurements. When taking measurements, follow the instructions for use with your laser level and pay attention to safety precautions to ensure accurate and safe measurement results.
