Maltesers Brownie
Welcome to this delicious Maltesers brownie recipe!
It is an easy brownie recipe you can make with friends or family. Also, you can customize the recipe, according to your preferences, by changing the Maltesers for other ingredients, such as Oreo, Kit kat or other chocolate sweets.
Supplies
Materials:
- Knife
- Bowls
- Saucepan
- Whisk
- Spatula
- Round mould (25 cm / 10 inch)
Ingredients:
- 200 g of dark chocolate
- 165 g of unsalted butter
- 3 eggs and 2 egg yolks
- 165 g of sugar
- 80 g of Maltesers
- 40 g of flour
- 20 g of cocoa powder
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
Melt Down the Chocolate
First, we will fill half of the saucepan with water and place a glass bowl (*) on top. Then, start heating the water (medium heat). Chop up the dark chocolate and the butter in cubes. Put the chocolate and the butter in the bowl and keep mixing them. When the mixture is melted, set aside.
(*) The bowl should not touch the water, it has to be heated by steam.
Whisk the Eggs
Whisk the three whole eggs and the two egg yolks until bubbles are created. Add the sugar and keep mixing. Then, add the vanilla extract and mix again.
Add the Remaining Ingredients
Firstly, chop the Maltesers in half. Then, add the chocolate and butter mixture to the bowl of eggs and sugar with enveloping movements until smooth texture. Next, add the flour, cocoa powder and minced Maltesers and mix again.
Let the Magic Happen...
Fill the mould with the mixture.
Bake the Maltesers brownie at 180ÂșC for 30 - 40 minutes, but during the first 25 minutes, cover the mould with baking paper.
