Making a Wooden Soldering Gun Stand

Making a wooden soldering gun stand from junk material. It is very easy to make a wooden soldering gun stand from junk material. For this you need to have hollow bamboo piece with length from 7 to 9 cm. Outer diameter 5cm. Inner diameter should be enough to fit soldering gun's metal part. A 5mm thick plywood square 10cm x 10 cm piece.

  1. 5mm thick square plywood piece with 10cm x 10cm size.
  2. Hollow bamboo piece with outer diameter 5cm. Inner diameter should be enough to fit soldering gun's metal part comfortably inside it.
  3. Files, Big & small Hacksaw.
  4. Hammer &
  5. Nails.

Using wood working files finish the surface of 10 x 10 plywood square & bamboo piece. These two pieces surface should be smooth. See the the photographs in the next slide.

Also finish edges & corners of the plywood & bamboo piece.

Fix the bamboo piece at the center of the plywood piece using nails & hammer.
