Making a Jewelry Wire 3 Leaf Clover
I have been trying to find thr easiest way to make a jewelry wire clover and i think i found it! Sadly,i didnt manage to make it a 4 leaf clover, but it is still pretty cool!
Supplies
Jewelry wire
Wire cutters
Flat plyers
Jewelry plyers
Wire cutters
Flat plyers
Jewelry plyers
Make 3 Circles Around the Biggest End of Your Jewelry Plyers
Cut a peice of jewelry wire. It doesnt need to be long, just enough to wrap it and still have some extra. Wrap your jewelry wire around the base of your jewelry plyers 3 times. Once you have completed that, remove the wire slightly (just enough room to fit another bit in) and twist the two loose ends together as close as you can to the circles.
Tuck and Pull
With your circles still on the plyers with a bit of a gap, tuck in one of your loose ends and pull it through with your second set of plyers. The reason it still hast to be on the jewelry plyers is because otherwise it will become stretched. After it is through as much as you can, twist the ends together again.
Bend Out
Bend the outer circles carefully outwards, before twisting the middle one up. Ensure you don't stretch or break them. Make sure they are all even with some plyers
Shape
Hold your clover carefully with your other plyers, before holding the side of one of your leaves (clarification in pictures) and twisting slightly inwards to make a dent. Repeat from the other side, as this will bend it in. Repeat the last 2 steps untill all of your leaves look like this
Twist
Twist the remainder of the excess wire together and trim it.
Congratulations!
Congrats! You just made a wire 3 leaf clover! I hope you enjoyed! I added a jump ring to mine and wear it as a necklace.
