What You'll Need
Tools:
- Bread maker
- Measuring cups
- Oven
Ingredients (All at room temperature):
Dough 1 1/2 pound:
- Water: 7-8 ounces
- Olive or vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons
- Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
- All-purpose flour: 3 cups
- Active dry yeast: 1 1/2 teaspoons
Toppings:
- Sauce (spaghetti or pizza)
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Pepperoni
- Any other toppings you'd like
Bread Maker
Add the ingredients for the dough into the bread maker, making sure you put the wet ingredients in first.
Dough
Set the bread maker to the dough setting (different bread makers may vary) and select either 1 hour and 28 mins for regular time or 36 mins on the quick setting.
Prep
While you wait for the dough to finish, you can start getting your ingredients ready. You can grate the cheese and cut up the pepperoni into slices.
Rolling Out the Dough
After the dough is done, you can sprinkle some flour onto the table and place the dough down. Start rolling the dough out so that it's a bit bigger than the pizza pan you're using so that there is room to fold it over the for the stuffed crust.
Stuffing the Crust
Place the dough onto the pan, then lay chunks of cheese around the edge. Fold the dough over the cheese and push it down.
Saucing
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Now you can sauce your pizza trying not to get it on the crust. I used spaghetti sauce but you can use any sauce you'd like.
Cooking
Place your toppings of choice onto your pizza as the oven heats up. After that's done, you can place your pizza into the oven and cook it for 15 to 20 mins depending on how cooked you like the pizza.
Enjoy!
Once the pizza is cooked, you can cut it up, let it cool down, and enjoy.
