Making Flower Rings

This easy instructable will help you learn how to make elegant rings with flower patterns!

Gathering the Materials

The first step is to collect all the materials needed. These materials are; wire, scissors or a wire cutter and beads in three different colors. In this Instructable I have used the colors red, white and gold.

The Perfect Ring Size

The second step is to find out the perfect ring size for you. You can do this by using the ring size loops, or if you don't have them, you can use a string which fits around your finger perfectly.

Cutting the Wire

Next, you should wrap the wire 3 times around the correct size on the mandrel. Once you have wrapped it around, you can mark the spot and cut it with the scissor/wire cutter.

The Opening of the Ring

To create the opening of the ring, bend the wire to a circle and wrap the end around it a few times.

First Beads

Now add 1 golden bead, 3 white beads and 1 red bead on the wire. If you are using different coloured beads make sure to have them in the same ratio.

Half of the Flower Is Already Done :)

Take the end of the wire and thread it through the first white bead. Once you have pulled it tight you can already see half of the flower.

The Flower Is Finished :)

Step 7 is to bend the wire upwards and add 4 more white beads. Next, pull the wire through the white bead which is at the top of the red bead and pull it tight. This will then close the circle of white beads and a flower will be created.

Adding More Flowers

To continue the pattern add more flowers all you need to do is repeat steps 5-7. Once in a while you should check if the ring is large enough by wrapping it around the mandrel.

Closing the Ring

Once the ring is large enough to fit around the right size on the mandrel, you can close the ring. This is done by threading the wire through the loop we made at the beginning in step 4.

The final step is to thread the wire through one of the wite beads. When doing this it does not matter which white bead the wire is placed through. Now just cut off the excess wire and the ring is done!
