Supplies
- Chain (enough to complete you bracelet, wrap around your wrist to find out how much you need)
- Lobster claw clas(to open/close the bracelet)
- Engravable metal plate (place to put the engravement on)
- Pliers or scissors (to cut the chain if needed)
- Letter metal stamps
- Jump rings (to clasp the lobster claws onto)
- Hammer
First, take your engravable metal plate and set it on something like a piece of wood so you wonโt damage the surface of the table.
Take the letter metal stamps you will use in your engraving and line them up to make sure it all fits and has even spacing.
Once you are ready to start, take your first letter and place it on the plate, then hammer it down. Make sure you donโt hit the stamp multiple times. If you do, the stamp may shift and you will end up with multiple imprints of the letter. One hard and firm hit will get you the best result.
Continue with other letters like step 3.
When you are done with your lettering, measure the chain to your desirable length. Then take it and insert it into the holes on the plate.
Put the jump rings on both ends of the chain and close it with pliers. After that, add your lobster claw clasp onto the jump rings.
And now you should be done with your bracelet / jewlery! Thanks for trying this craft out!
