Make Your Own Multipurpose Table!
This table really comes in handy when you least expect it. Whether you want to put a plant on it or even a bowl of chips, it does the job! This table is actually really easy to make all you need is a lot of wooden dowels and wood glue!
Marking the Dowels
Start by getting two 1 cm by 1 foot dowels. On each end, make a line that is one or two millimeters from the end, make the line 1 cm long and make sure the lines on each end line up. Using the lines as a guide, create a divot that lets one of the rods sit in it.
Gluing the Frame
Glue the four dowels to make a square frame. The ends of the two dowels that don't have divots should sit in the ones that do.
Gluing the Top
Grab a bunch of 1/2 cm by 1 foot dowels. Glue them to the top side by side. Each end will sit on a dowel.
Making the Legs
Grab 4 dowels that are 3/4 cm by 1 foot. Mark each dowel so that there is a line every three inches, so 4 pieces. Then cut all those pieces. You will now have 16 pieces, split them in four groups of four. Start by gluing two pieces side by side then another two. Then glue those together to make a square like you see in the picture. Repeat this process until you have four legs.
Gluing the Legs
Glue each leg to a corner on the bottom and wait for them to dry. After they dry get two more 1/2 cm by 1 foot dowels and glue them on the back to make a V shape, this will add support.
Enjoy!
You have completed this fun and easy process that leaves you with a modern looking table!
