Magnetic Power Generator

iso.png

A wind power generator. This design generates power using the magnetic fields from the turning of the wind turbine. With society becoming more and more reliant on electricity and fossil fuels being pushed out for its harm to our planet wind power is a valid solution to the energy needs. Assuming 1A this design generates 32 volts at 60 RPM

The Spinner Point

The spinner is two Stainless Steel Ball Bearing (protection guards not shown in image). Wielded into a hollow aluminum tube. Within the tube are 4 Neodymium Magnets. Each parallel magnets switches polarity to allow for a magnetic field to be generated. The tube has holes along in order to allow for the blade to be attached.

The Base

The base has a copper coil lining it in order to allow for the generation of the magnetic field. The base has 2 ring clips for ease of assembly attaching the base and the spinner. The coil wraps around the shaft and back into the hollow shaft in order to reach the Power converter seen on the new step.

The Rectifier

The magnetic field that is generator can only generate AC electricity, in order to change this into the more standard DC electricity a rectifier circuit is required in addition to a output USB type B in order for this to go into either an external power supply or directly into an appliance.

Blades

A crescent shape is optimal to ensure that no matter which way the wind may blow that the wind is optimally taken in by the design and that the spinner will rotate.
