Right first you got to find, or make, a square metal plate. I had to cut my one out of an old pillar. Metal has to be like 3 mm thick, otherwise your ninja star won't fly straight.

SCRAPE/DRAW a STAR

Now using a sharp nail or screw Draw a desired shape of a star. I decided to make it four blade star. I used a ruler to scrape straight lines in metal plate. After its done place this plate in vice. Yeah and don't draw anything complicated as you will have to cut it out.

CUT IT OUT

Now using a angle grinder and protective equipment, cut your ninja star out. be careful when using power tools. And if you don't know how to use an angle grinder, it's better to ask someone who does. However you have to have a circle for cutting metal on.

SHARPEN IT

Almost there. Now take your shuriken and sharpen it up using sander or other sharpening tools you may have. The most important part is to have blades spiky. Yet sharpening edges will help shuriken stick into a wood. I'm sure there is a reason to have a hole in the middle for Ninja to be able to hook them onto a belt or something. I drilled hole just because it looks cool. If you like this instructable, please share and like.
