LED Flashlight / Camping Light

I have made this LED torch for my small camping using an old Nokia BL5C battery. It is rechargeable and gives sufficient lighting for dark outdoors.

Gathering Required Materials

1. SMD LED (5730/5630 ) Warm white

2. PCB for mounting LED

3. One TP4056 Li-lon Battery Charger with battery protection

4. Nokia Battery - BL-5C

5. 22 ohms resistor

6. One empty hearing aid battery case for housing the compnent

7. Switch

Soldering SMD LED's to PCB

Solder the SMD LED's to the PCB shown at the start.

Connect Them All Together

Connect them all together as per the circuit shown in the picture.

Fitting Everything Into the Case

Fit every thing in to the case. You will need to modify the case to fit battery and make necessary cuts to access usb charging and switch.

Charge It Using Any USB Charger

Charge it with any USB 5 Volt charger.

It's done. It draws around 60 mA of current.The light lasts for more than 18 hours once fully charged.
