Knex Mixer for Water Bottles

Good morning/afternoon/evening (whenever you are seeing this)! Today I will be instructing you on how to build a Knex mixer for water bottles. What do I mean by "mixer for water bottles"? This basically mixes up anything you put in your water (ex: Kool Aid powder, etc. ). This works best with plastic water bottles, but if you can, use it in other water bottles not plastic-wise. This machine is used with a fast motor to make the blending faster. If you don't have these silver colored motors, use the green ones, even though it will take a little longer. These specific kinds of motors used in this build are highly recommended by me. Although, if you have a different kind of motor, you may need to adjust the mixer part of the build. The mixer is moveable (up and down) so that way you can lift it up to put the bottle in or out. It only goes up and down so far the yellow connectors end at the silver spacers on the red rods. There will be a video soon.

I just thought of the idea, and thought it was a useful idea. Just be sure you clean the mixing rod when you are done. PLEASE! You don't want leftover gunk from the last drink mixed in with the current drink.

Here is what holds the mixer in place. You'll notice there is a spot for the bottle to be held. That keeps the bottle still while the mixer is "mixing", (not like it's going to move or anything, but to be sure).

This will be the mixer. Technically speaking, it's a mixer when really it's just a rod! Kind of like a drill or those mixers for making Pizzelles or cookies.....(I kind of want a cookie now)............

Anyway, the rod should start to "turn" the water and whatever else is in there when you turn it on.

You will now put these things together to make the product. Some of the rods were changed to the flexi versions, like the 2 purple rods and 2 blue rods in the front and the 1 purple in the back.

These rods keep the mixer together. Along with other things, too.

All you have to do is take off the red horizontal rod closest to the bottle holder facing toward you off and insert the water bottle. Move the mixing rod up a little and put the bottle in. Push the mixer down and turn it on!

W.O.W. (Word of Warning)

When you turn the mixer on, it may splash a little. This is only if you put the mixer in a bigger bottle. So, be aware of that. Just a heads up. Also, the mixer does not line up too much with the hole of the water bottle. You'll have to move the water bottle a little to get the mixer inside.

Done!

Enjoy your new mixer! Hopefully this works well with what you're mixing. Let me know how it turns out in the comments! Until next time, see you along the rails!
