Kit-Kats
Roll out your clay/sculpey until it’s slightly thicker than your screw eyes, and thin enough for your Kit-Kats.
Mark Your Clay
Using a ruler, mark the clay so that it is split into four, using your toothpick or screwed, slightly indent the clay where the markings are. Once that’s done, you can just pop in a screw eye in the side.
Peanut M&M’s
Take a little bit of clay and roll it around in your hands, to form a sphere. After that, place a screw eye in the side, and misshape it a little bit, to make it look like there’s a peanut in there.
Bake
Place your clay charms with the screw eyes on a baking tray lined with tinfoil. It’s important that you add the screw eyes now, because once you bake them the clay, you can’t push them in. Bake for about five minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Once they’re done take them out, and let them cool completely before moving onto the next step.
Painting
To paint your Kit-Kats, simply just brush on some brown paint. For your M&M’s, what I found helpful was to find a paint set. That was deep enough and wide enough for me to just dip it in. After painting, leave overnight, or for 24 hours to dry completely.
Turning It Into a Necklace
Cut a piece of chain at the length you want it to be. After that, take jumprings, and use them to attach the charms. Lastly, add a clasp to the end of the chain and wear it!
