James Webb Teleskope Mirror
I liked the design of the James Webb Telescope and saw some people building something similar, so i thought imma give it a try too.
Supplies
- 1x Plywood 60x60cmx1cm
- 18x Self sticking Hexagon Mirrors
- Electric saw
- Grinder
- Black paint
- hand milling machine
First i put the mirrors in the correct order. Then i marked them in the right orientation. You dont have to do this, but my mirrors where fairly cheap and werent a perfect match.
After that i outlined the mirrors on my plywood and added about 2cm to each side.
Cut out the form and round up the edges with the grinder. Do some sanding and spraypaint 2-3 layers of black Paint.
Peel of the sticky side and attatch the mirrors on the wood. Done!
