Indian Masala Rice - One Pot Meal
Introduction
Hey Guys,
We know that Indians are largely known for their Spices & Spicy Food. And there are Great Medicinal Benefits using Indian Spices. Indian Spices have Power to Cure Several Health problems related to teeth, Blood, Heart, Stomach, etc,.... It even helps in Digestion after we consume the Food. Nowadays, Even Doctors recommend using Indian Spices in our Meals for a Better Health.
Indian Masala Rice is a Rice based Recipe from the Kitchens of India which tastes great for Lunch and Dinner with great Medicinal Benefits. This Recipe is Quiet Simple to make and can be Made in One Pot.
Now Lets Start making the Delicious One Pot Meal - Indian Masala Rice.
Lets Gather the Ingredients
Ingredients
- Ghee ( Clarified Butter ) - 3 tbsp
- Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
- Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
- Asafoetida - a pinch
- Cloves - 4 pcs
- Elachi - 2 pcs
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
- Chilli - 3 pcs
- Garam Masala - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
- Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
- Rice ( Basmati Rice ) - 2 Cup
- Coriander Leaves
- Mint Leaves
- Chopped Onion - 1 Cup
- Chopped Tomato - 1 Cup
- Chopped Carrot - 1/4 Cup
- Chopped Beans - 1/4 Cup
- Chopped Capsicum ( Bell Pepper ) - 1 Cup
- Chopped Potato - 1/4 Cup
- Peas - 1/2 Cup
- Water - 3 glass
Chop the Vegetables
- Chop Onions for 1 Cup
- Chop Tomatoes for 1 Cup
- Chop Carrot for 1/4 Cup
- Chop Capsicum ( Bell Pepper ) for 1 Cup
- Chop Beans for 1/4 Cup
- Chop Potato for 1/4 Cup
Take a Pan
- Add 3 tbsp of Ghee ( Clarified Butter )
- Add 1 tsp of Mustard Seeds
- Add 1 tsp of Cumin Seeds
- Add 4 pcs of Cloves
- Add 2 pcs of Elachi
- Add 3 pcs of Chilli
- Saute Well
Add the Chopped Vegetables
- Add 1 Cup of Chopped Onions
- Add 1 tsp of Ginger Garlic Paste
- Add 1 Cup of Chopped Tomatoes
- Add 1 Cup of Chopped Capsicum ( Bell Pepper )
- Add 1/4 Cup of Chopped Beans
- Add 1/4 Cup of Chopped Carrot
- Add 1/4 Cup of Chopped Potato
- Saute Well
Add the Powders
- Add 1 tsp of Turmeric Powder
- Add 1 tsp of Coriander Powder
- Add 1 tsp of Chilli Powder
- Add 1 tsp of Salt
- Add 1/2 Cup of Peas
- Add a pinch of Asafoetida
- Saute Well
Cook for 5 Minutes
- Close the Pan with a Lid for 5 Minutes.
- Cook for 5 Minutes.
- After 5 Minutes, Open the Lid.
Add the Rice
- Add 1 tsp of Garam Masala
- Saute Well
- Add 2 Cups of Soaked Rice ( Soaked in Water for 20 Minutes )
- Mix Well
Cook for 10 Minutes
- Add 3 glass of Water
- Close the Pan with a Lid for 10 Minutes
- Cook for 10 Minutes
- After 10 Minutes, Open the Lid.
Add Coriander and Mint Leaves
- Add few Coriander Leaves
- Add few Mint Leaves
- Mix Well
Ready to Eat
- Now the Delicious Indian Masala Rice - One Pot Meal is Ready to Eat
