How to Use SeaFoam on a Motorcycle
In this instructable video, I attempted to fix a hesitation and backfiring problem on my Honda Nighthawk CB450SC using SeaFoam. There are many ways to use this product on a motorcycle, but I will show you how I did it on a motorcycle that was not ridden for several months.
I first drained the fuel in the carburetor bowls. Then I filled them up with a 50/50 mix of SeaFoam and fuel then let it idle until the mixture was finished. Then I left 100% seafoam in the carburetor bowls overnight. The following day, I added 8 to 9 capfuls of SeaFoam in the tank, drained the bowls, and let it idle.
This process improved the hesitation issues by about 50%, but the backfiring was still present. After another treatment, the hesitation improved even more.
