How to Hardwire a Disco Ball Motor to Be Controlled by an External Switch!
Ever had a time with a battery powered disco ball motor, where you had to reach up and fumble for the switch?
Those times are over!

Step 1: Getting Stuff
Get your motor controlled by an ON/OFF switch, battery powered. Link: http://www.ebay.com/bhp/8-mirror-ball
U WILL NEED
1x D-Ball Motor (described above)
1x Audio wire (speaker wire) however long you want your control to be away from the D-Ball
1x ON/OFF Switch
1x Soldering Iron W/ Solder
1x Wire Strippers (or use your teeth)
U WILL NEED

1x Wire Strippers (or use your teeth)
Step 2: Open the D-Ball Motor
Take out these screws.
Remove the switch. (If it comes out intact, great! You can use it in a hack! If it doesn't, oh well, you don't need it anymore...)
Solder the wires that were previously connected to the switch to the audio wires.

Solder the wires that were previously connected to the switch to the audio wires.
Step 3: Soldering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now solder the other ends to the switch you procured. (not the one you tore out of the motor)
You're Done!
Enjoy your new motor!
