How to Make a Mini Catapult Out of Old Markers

I made this catapult for for a science experiment. I did not have enough wooden sticks so I used markers and elastic bands.

Supplies

Materials:

  • Markers
  • Elastic bands
  • Paper
  • Prestik

Making the Base

  • Start by making a square with your markers
  • Put them together with elastic bands

Starting to Make It Look Real

  • Take two markers and put them on your square frame facing up at an angle
  • Take a marker and put it at the top (of the two markers)
  • Take two markers and put them on the other side of your square frame facing up at an angle
  • Attach them to the marker at the top

Finishing Your Catapult

  • Put a marker in the middle of one of your two diagonal markers and attach it to the base
  • Then take a rubber band and put it to one pill a round the one marker and to the other side of the pole (look at the picture to see what I mean)
  • Take another marker and attach it to the marker in the middle (of the two diagonal markers).
  • Then cut out of small piece of paper and fold it to make a little bole and stick it to the top of the marker
  • Then you are finished your catapult
