Gather Sauce Ingredients

For the first step, you will need to gather all of the ingredients necessary for making the sauce to create a more organized cooking environment and to make sure you are fully prepared.

Slice Your Onions and Celery

For the second step, you will need to grab your onion and celery. For the onion, you can get either a full onion and chop it up yourself, or you can get pre-chopped onions. If you are going to chop the onion yourself, chop them up with a knife on a cutting board and set it aside. If you are going to get pre-chopped onions, then just set them aside on a cutting board. For the celery, you need to grab 2 ribs and wash them. Set the washed celery on the same cutting board as the onion and slice it into small pieces.

Sauté Onions and Celery

Pour your chopped onions and celery into a pot along with a splash of olive oil to prevent them from sticking to the bottom of the pot. Sauté them for about 3-4 minutes, making sure they are a little browned and soft.

Brown the Meat

Next, take your veggies out of the pot and set them aside. Get the meat out of the package and pull it apart into a pot. You can use the same pot you used to sauté your veggies. Cook the meet until fully brown.

Mix Meat and Veggies

Once your meat is fully brown, drain it through a strainer and put it back into the pot. Next, grab your onions and celery that you set aside and put them in the pot along with the meat.

Add Tomato Ingredients

For your next step, add all of the tomato ingredients to the pot along with the meat and veggies. This includes tomatoes, tomato paste, and tomato soup.

Measure Spices

Measure out all of the spices and mix them together in a separate bowl.

Add Spices and Mushrooms

Add your bowl of mixed spices and the mushrooms to the big pot along with the other ingredients already included.

Let Simmer

Stir together all of the ingredients in the pot with a wooden spoon until evenly mixed. Put the lid on the pot and let your sauce simmer for three hours.

Cook Noodles

While your sauce is still simmering and has about 30 minutes left until done, grab a new pot and fill about halfway with water. Put the pot on the stove at high. Sprinkle a pinch of salt into the water to help the water come to a boil. Pour a tablespoon of olive oil into the water as well to prevent the noodles from sticking together. Once the water has come to a boil, lightly drop your noodles into the pot. Frequently stir for around 10 minutes until noodles are soft.

Serve

When your sauce is done simmering and your noodles are fully cooked, drain your noodles with a strainer. If you don't want to eat this right away, you can refrigerate your noodles and sauce in two separate bowls to keep them fresh for a few days. If you want to serve immediately, put some of your noodles in a bowl, add some sauce on top, and serve.

Enjoy!
