How to Make Chocolate Cookies
When I was little I used to make the best chocolate chip cookies with my mom. Baking is such a fun pastime, and everyone should know how to. This is how to make the best chocolate chip cookies!
Supplies
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 sticks salted butter (softened)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
Equipment:
- Hand mixer
- Non stick baking sheet
Ingredients
Gather all of your ingredients.
Preheat Oven
Preheat the oven to 375F degrees.
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium sized bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix and set aside.
Soften Butter
Soften butter in microwave.
Mix Wet Ingredients
In a hand mixer combine butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
Add Eggs
On a low speed add eggs one at a time. Mix well in between each egg.
Add Dry Ingredients
On a low speed gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
Add Chocolate Chips
Fold in chocolate chips.
Roll Out Cookie Dough
Roll out balls of dough and place on cookie sheet.
Bake
Put in oven and bake for 7-9 minutes (might be more depending on size of cookies).
Let Cool
Once done baking let cookies cool for a few minutes and then enjoy! Baking is fun and relaxing and I would recommend making more fun recipes like this one.
