it can be annoying when you don't have a spot to put your tools so what I do is tap a nail or few into the wall depending on the size and shape of the tool. keep reading if you want to find out the best way to hang a hammer and other tools!

Supplies

materials:

nails/screws (personally I like steel nails)

dry wall anchors (these are if you want to tools on drywall and you have a screw gun)

tools:

hammer/ screw gun,

stud finder (optional)

marker

Figure Out Where You Want to Hang Your Tool

First, figure out where you want to hang your tool. use your stud finder to find the stud you want to hang your tool on. if you want your tool somewhere else you can use a drywall anchor to hang it.

Mark Where the Nails Will Go

then press your tool to the wall, then mark the spots where you will tap your nails.

if your tool has a hole I would tap a nail and then slide the nail into the hole, and that's how I would hang a tool with a hole

to hang a hammer you can tap a nail under the hammer's neck and then another under the claw. in the picture, I marked the spots for nails in red.

Tap All Your Nails Into the Spots Where You Marked

place your nail on the spot you marked and tap it into the wall(or where ever you marked)

Hang Your Tool

hang your tool on the nails you taped in. again, if your tool has a hole slide the hole onto the nail.

Label or Outline

If you want you can outline the tool with a permanent marker to help keep things organized and in the right spot or instead you can use a lebel maker or a piece of tape about two or three inch long with the name of your tool written on it.

Done!

Enjoy your tools conveniently hanging on the wall
