Make sure the cord is completely unplugged before working on it.

Triming Away Damaged Portion

Cut the cord on both sides of the damaged portion using pliers.

Striping the Wire Ends and Twisting Them Together

Strip the insulation off the cord and twist them together.

Wrap the Tape
