These simple wings are an essential in my next project, a WoF lamp. Plus they are a fun decoration for any room if you color, or create your own dragon, using these wings as the wings. These wings are specifically designed after Glorys wings, so if your a fan, you might want to get out book three for reference. Hope you enjoy this craft!

Supplies

Paper
Pencil
Wings of Fire, the hidden kingdom for reference (optional)

Prepare the Paper

Place the paper horizontal on the table in front of you, fold it in half. Crease.
Unfold the paper and press down on the crease.

Draw the Guide

About half an inch from the center line, draw a line going slightly up. Stop about halfway across the half. Turn, and go up at an even steeper angle, stop about an inch from the top, and go directly off the paper, repeat on the other side.
At the first turn, draw a line going down, at the other turn, make three lines, one going down, one going down at an angle and disappearing of the paper, have the third go down at a slight angle disappearing quickly of the paper. Repeat on the other side.

Complete the Veins

The three lines going down on each side are the veins, add another line next to each one, then shade it in.

Complete the 'arms'

IMG_4985.JPG
The main, long line is what I'm calling the arms. Add another long line just above each one, then shade in the space imbatween.

Tip: after the last turn, make the arm as thin as the first vein

Add the Skin

Imbetween the veins, make an arc going in from one and into the other. The picture is, trust me, much more helpful then this instruction.

Finish

Add little claw things at the bottom of the first two veins on each wing, make inward towards where the body would be. Add larger ones at last turn, facing outward.

Done!!!😁
