How to Create a Customizable Logo Keychain Tag

Custom keychains are a fun and creative way to showcase your personal style, promote your brand, or make unique gifts. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to create a Customizable Logo Keychain Tag.

Whether you’re looking to create keychains for business giveaways, branding, or just for fun, this model gives you the flexibility to make it truly yours.

The process is simple: download the model, add your logo in SVG format, and customize the size to fit your needs. No prior design experience is required—just open the file in OpenSCAD, adjust the parameters, and you're ready to print.

I’ve created two versions of this customizable keychain tag. Choose the one that fits your needs:

Download the .scad file for the keychain model you want to customize.

Open the file using OpenSCAD.

The keychain dimensions are defined in millimeters (mm) by default. If needed, you can modify the following parameters to adjust the size of your keychain tag:

1. Tag_Height and Tag_Width for the rectangular keychain.
2. Tag_Diameter for the round keychain.

To add your logo:

1. Save your logo as an SVG file.
2. Name the file logo.svg and place it in the same folder as the .scad file.
3. In OpenSCAD, run the file to render your keychain with the logo.

If you don’t have your logo in vector format (SVG), you can follow this tutorial to convert your logo to SVG.

Once you’re happy with the design:

1. Export the model as an STL file.
2. 3D print it using your preferred 3D printer.
