How to Cook Perfectly Crispy Bacon
We are going to cook Crispy but juicy bacon using a great trick.
I’ve tried every food hack under the sun for bacon but I find this one works best.
You can buy a bacon grilling rack but they’re not fun to clean and just another thing that you have to store in the cupboard.
We are going to make one out of alfoil.
To Start Off, You’ll Need a Baking Tray.
Measure out the alfoil to be double the length of the tray.
Fold in half.
Fold in the Longest Sides of the Alfoil, So It's the Width of the Tray.
Then Start by Folding the End of the Alfoil, Fold Over the End by a Cm or Half an Inch.
Then turn over and fold again by 1 cm or half an inch.
Repeat until you reach the other end.
Grab Hold of Each End and Pull Apart.
You’ll end up with a zip zag shape.
Sit this in the tray.
Lay the Bacon on Top.
I find I can normally fit 5 slices.
You could fit 10 by making two side by side.
Place in a Fan Force Oven Set to 392f or 200c and Cook for 15 Minutes.
My oven has a few hot spots, so rotate the tray if needed.
The best part of this other than having perfectly cooked bacon is you can just throw out the alfoil once the bacon has finished cooking.
Don’t forget to save the bacon fat because it’s amazing when used to fry eggs.
After About 15 Minutes This Bacon Is Looking Perfect.
If your bacon is thicker, you’ll to cook it for a little longer.
Look How Crispy But Succulent the Bacon Still Is.
I Love to Use This Technique When Cooking a Bacon and Eggs Sandwich.
This way of cooking bacon gives you beautifully crispy bacon while still been juicy.
