How to: Cable Management for Office, Desk, PC and Garage

Messy cables can be quite annoying, especially when they get tangled up and clutter your office, desk, pc, or garage.

This is why I am going to share with you a simple trick that will make your life easier, your desk nicer, and will save you from tripping over hanging-cables.

Supplies

- Extension Cord

- Screwdriver

- Marker

- 3 to 4 mm drill bit

- Electric Drill

- Wood/Metal Screws (Depending on your surface)

- Zip Ties

Step 1: Prepare Your Extension Cord

First, you will need to open your extension cord using a screwdriver.
After that mark your drilling points. Two should be enough, but you can have three to make it sturdier!
Finally, using a 3 to 4 mm drill bit, drill the holes!

Step 2: Install the Extension Cord

Using wood or metal screws (depending on your surface/ table) screw the Extension cord in place!
Make sure not to have it popping outside of the table, or it might get damaged over time.

After that assemble the extension cord again using a screwdriver.

Step 3: Hide the Cable

Using Zip-ties, hide the electrical cable below your work surface, and take it all the way to the power outlet.
Take care not to excessively bend or pinch your cable. The last thing you would want is for it to create a short-circuit!
Now plug your extension cord in the wall, and use any device to make sure that it has power running through it.

Step 4: Enjoy a Clean, Tidy, and Stress-Free Workplace

Now you are ready to make awesome projects without having to trip over those annoying extension cords.
