House

This project we had to use 3ds Max to make a 3d house my program was being buggy so I used the program Vectary. We had to animate some of the objects as well as make a camera move through the house like for example the show WandaVision they had the camera moving and showing us the full house. This project was a little tough but I got through it alright.

Supplies

-Computer

-3ds Max (Or in this case Vectary)

-Mouse optional

Kitchen

The first room I decided to make was the kitchen. I started off with a base. To make the base I used the square plane and stretched it to make it bigger. Next I made the walls. I made the walls with squares. For the left wall I pushed the right part of the square back until it was thin. Then I stretched it wide and tall. To make the right wall I just copied and paste the left one and then dragged it to the right. To make the back wall I copied and pasted it again but this time I went to rotate it 90 degrees that way it would be the same length and it could be dragged and moved back to the back. I left one wall open so you could be able to see everything. Next I made the fridge. To make the fridge use the rectangle make it smaller, taller, and turn it white. Then you need another rectangle and make it horizontal and then make it the same width as the fridge and put it in the middle so then you have both the freezer and the fridge together. Then I made the handles all I did was take a circle and shrink it then I put one above and one below the line so there was one for each. Next I made the oven for this part I took a square and kept it the same size, changed the color to a darker grey, copy and pasted the knobs, and then I made a flat small black rectangle for where the time was supposed to go. After that I believe the next thing I did was the doors. For the doors I used a square, made it flat, stretched it and turned it brown. I just copied, pasted and moved it for the other door. Then I made the island I used a square ot make the rectangle and then left that like that. Then I took a flat plane and made it a darker grey for the top part. I also made it match in size. After that I made the cabinets. I used a square to make two separate brown cabinets. Then I made a thin tall rectangle for the separation of them and copied and pasted the door knobs. Finally there is the window. With the window I made a flat vertical square next I made some small thin rectangles for the perimeter of it. That is a step by step of the kitchen.

Living Room

After the kitchen the next room I made was the living room. Like the kitchen I did the same steps for the floor and the walls. The first object I decided to make was the couch. With the couch I used the capsule, rotated it 90 degrees so it would be laying down long ways, and I turned it brown. Now I'm also pretty sure that I shrank it. The next thing I did was the sides of the couch. I used a circle and made it a little thinner on the sides and turned those the same color brown to match the couch. After that I wanted to make the pillows. I took a square and made it smaller. With the square I put it inside the couch that way the top parts would be showing. Now I thought that the house was already starting to look a little bland so I added little bit of the color pink to the pillow cases to make it pop. After that I decided to make the doors. To make the doors I used the same steps as before I just had to figure out where to place them. Next I made the tv and the tv stand. I started off with the tv stand that I took a square made it a rectangle and turned it white. Then for the tv I took another square made it thin (like a flat screen) and turned it black. Then I moved it on top of the tv stand and that's how I got that. Finally there's the chair. With this I started with a box as the base because not all chairs have to have legs. Then I used a flat plane to make the sitting part of the chair. Then finally I used another flat square to make the back of the chair. That's how I made my living room.

Bedroom

The next room I decided to make was the bedroom. The first step for the bedroom was the walls and floors. I did the exact same steps as before except this time I decided to change them to the color pink. I got bored of doing grey and brown all the time and I thought it was time for more splashes of color. The next thing I did was the bed. I took a square flattened it down and then stretched it long and wide. I also changed the color of that to purple because it's my favorite color. Then I made the pillow, I made the pillow by taking a square, changing the color to white flattening it down and then making it look how a pillow would. The next step was to make the closet. This was the probably the hardest part of this room because I had to figure out how to make it work. So I made another wall and decided it to take up a small yet big amount of space. After I figured out the wall I decided to make the doors. Same steps as always except for the closet your gonna wanna make it wider and have two door knobs. Then I made the dresser. I started off with a white rectangle. Like the stove timer I made four of those except those would be for the drawers and they would be a darker grey. Then I added four knobs one to each. I then felt the room was too plain so I added some racks to hang the clothes I took a square and shrunk it down and made it longer so that it would fit the whole closet. I got a little bored and thought about how every room should have a light so I added a lamp by making a cylinder and adding a yellow circle to it. That's how I made my bedroom.

Bathroom

So the first step I did was the floor. Now the floor for this was different I used the flat planes. I made 2 one black, and the other white. Then I copied and placed it till it looked even. Then I did the walls I used the same steps as before. The first object I did was the toilet. With the toilet I started with a cylinder and shrunk it down. Then the tricky part was figuring out how to do the seat. I just used the torus shape. I didn't bother making a bottom I just made it look like it did in the perspective. Then the back I just used a white square and shrunk it down. The next thing I did was the shower. I made some walls but I didn't want to make as long as the wall (same process). Also the walls I'm considering them to be curtains. I decided to combine the tub and shower. Then I made the water I just used a flat plane changed the color to blue and made it the size of the shower. Next I decided that the curtains would have polls holding them so I made a thin rectangle same way as before, and put them up top. After that I did the shower head. I used a cylinder and shrunk it. Then I used a circle plane and made it smaller to be on top of the cylinder. Next I did the doors same as always. Then I made the toilet paper I made by using two cylinders rotating it 90 degrees and shrinking it. Then I did the same with the paper but I did it the other way and changed the color to white. Next I made the mirror. I used a circle and flattened it and put it against the walls. Then I made the sink with a cylinder, square planes, and squares smushed made to look like rectangles. Finally I did the towel racks by making two skinny rectangles (same process) and making some flat squares for the towels and I turned them pink to match the rest of the house.

Dining Room

The final room of my house is the dining room. The first thing I did was the floor. I used the same process as the bathroom. Then I made the walls which is also the same process we have been using. Then I did the doors and windows they were also the same process as before. Then we start with the table. I took a flat plane and moved it up off of the ground so you could get some distance. Then I made the legs of the table my taking a square making it into a skinny vertical rectangle. I copied and pasted it so that they would be the same length and width when I moved them to the edge of the table. The next step was the plate so I took a flat circle plane and made it the size I wanted it to be and I made sure to put it above the table. After that I did the napkin which was just a square plane turned white shrinked above the table. Then I did the spoon I took a square and turned it into a flat vertical rectangle again. Then I took a circle made it flatter, shrunk it, and then put it at the top of the rectangle. Then I did the fork which was just 4 flattened rectangles. The two side ones were at an angle though. Then I did the knife and I couldn't decide if I should put a napkin underneath so I just didn't. For the knife I just made a flattened rectangle and made it a darker grey (For the record I'm one of those people who don't know how to set up a table properly without asking someone). Next there was the cup I was getting bored and tired so I just took a cylinder shrunk it, and turned it blue. Then there was the chair I did the same things with the legs as the table except I shrunk it down so that the size would be fine. Then for the actual seat part I used a flat square plane and put it on top of the legs. And then for the back I used another flattened square then moved it to the back of the chair. That's how I made my kitchen. That concludes my how to make the house instructable.
