Homemade Paper

IMG_5446.JPG

This is homemade paper, it is a simple project that takes only a few minutes of prep. I made this because in the past I learned how paper is made, so I decided to make some.

Supplies

The materials used in this project are paper, water, a bowl, a shredder, a strainer and a pan, I recommend using some sort of nonstick spray on the pan.

Shred the Paper

Take four pieces of paper, shred them into a clean bag, pour them into a bowl and add water until the paper is covered.

Mush It

Using some tongs or your hands squish the paper then pull it apart, do this till the paper is kind of mushy.

Strain the Paper

Pour the paper into a strainer over a sink, get rid of all the water.

Lay It Out

Grease you pan if desired, then pour the paper mixture on, squish it flat to whatever thickness is desired. Let it sit till it has become the color of your original paper, this is how you will know it's dry. Pull it off and use however you want.
