Holder for Soldering Wire or Insulation Tape From a PVC Pipe
I have made soldering wire and insulating tape roll holder from a PVC pipe.
First cut the length you need, then cut the pipe in two length ways. With a piece of pipe, heat it up and flatten it out to form a sheet of plastic, this will becone the ends.
Glue the ends on to the end of a length you cut and repeat on the other end.
Trim down the ends and sand then smooth to the half pipe.
Now make a base for the piece to be fitted on. I used a piece of pallet wood.
I screwed the half pipe after drilling two 2mm holes in the bottom of the pipe and screweed it to the base.
For the soldering wire rolls, I drilled 3mm holes for the wires to pop through so I can just pull out what I need.
Simple to make and cost me nothing for materials as I had them laying around.
Supplies
You will need a saw, heat gun / hair drier, superglue, drill and 2mm drill bit and a sander to smooth the edges

If you sand the plastic down, it can be painted or use any colour plastic pipes. I have only seen them in black, white and grey. I have also made a wooden holder from plywood. Just four pieces glued together.
Hope you can find other items to use this type of holder for.
