Helmet

I made this because I felt as if It was really cool, to wear for Halloween. In the beginning we were going to try to make it like a Viking helmet, but than we decided to make our own thing. toward the end we put horns on the helmet, we thought it would make it look cooler, and more original.

Supplies

Supplies: Cardboard box

Spray Paint

Purple foam block

white foam block

Hot glue

box cutter

foam cutter.

Cut Out the Foam Side Piece

In this step we took a foam block and we used a box cutter to cut the foam block in a circular block. After this we cut the foam circular block in half to make the side pieces of the helmet look better.

Cut Out the Horns

In this step we took the white foam block and melted it using a special tool in the classroom to make it look like horns.

Cut Out Balsa Wood

we cut out the Balsa wood into strips to match our portions from the helmet and lined them up.

Spray Paint

We spray painted each material we used. First we spray painted the cardboard box black the semicircular blocks golden and the horns red.

Glue It

We glued on everything first we took the newly spray painted semi circle blocks and hot glued it to the sides. Next we glued on the the horns on the top of the Helmet. Finally I glued on the balsa wood to thee top and the front of the helmet and we finished!
