Heavy Duty Electric PVC Screwdriver
Are you in desperate need of an electric screwdriver...?
Do you have any type of geared motor/ pvc pipes...in hand...?
Well today's is your lucky day, as you could own one through a bit of creativity and a lot of elbow grease.
I had made my version of one with materials available with me , hope it helps you guys some ideas to make your own version.

Supplies
Materials:
PVC pipes
PVC solvent
Screws
Tape
Screwbit adapter
Hollow rod
Geared motor
DPDT Switch
Tactile Switch
Wires
Ball bearing
Battery(6 to 12 volt)
Socket (to charge battery externally)
Tools:
Hack saw
Screw driver
Drilling machine
Hand file
Scissors
Fixing and Cutting
First step is to attach the ball bearing to the pipe( as shown) and to provide necessary slots to fix the geared motor in the required orientation.
Coupler Assembly
I am using an hollow iron rod as the coupler to fix the screwbit adapter to the geared motor.
Necessary cuts and slots have provided in the rod to achieve this function.

Thermoforming
Now the required profile needed for your screwdriver is achieved through thermoforming. Bottom covering is glued in using pvc solvent, the excess parts are removed using a scissor and finished using a hand file.
Openings for air flow are also provided in the body using a drilling machine as shown in the picture.

External Features.
DPDT Switch, tactile switch and the socket to charge battery are fixed to the pvc body.
Here, I am using an external auto cutoff battery adapter to charge the nickel cadmium battery pack.

Circuitry and Final Assembly.
With the circuit shown above everything is soldered and finally assembled. My version of PVC heavy duty screwdriver is complete.
