Heart of Glass Wall Art

Watching these paper hearts reflect through the glass has never been more exciting, especially with this Valentine's Day wall art!

Materials

For this unique gift idea, you will need:

  • glass from a 5x7 inch picture frame
  • wooden frame
  • red 3D puff paint
  • flat back rhinestones
  • hot glue
  • white paint
  • Mod Podge
  • large paint brush and / or foam brush
  • paper hearts

Lay Down Hearts

First, carefully remove the glass from the frame (if you haven't done so already). Then, lay down some paper hearts on a layer of Mod Podge. Add another coat on top to seal, and let dry.

Decorate the Frame

Next, paint the frame white. Then, once the paint dries, you can decorate it however you want! I used red puff paint, and rhinestones to match the color scheme of the paper hearts!

Add Glass to Frame

Finally, attach the glass to the back (not decorated front) of the wooden frame, making sure that it fits.

Done!

Now, this wall art can be used as a gift for someone for Valentine's Day (or any other occasion) or it can be displayed anywhere that needs a little love!

Note: I added a 5th heart in the middle, because I didn't want it to look so empty!
