This year I decided to take an old oscilating fan that I had lying around and turn it into a witch.

I used an old standing Russell hobbs fan and a bunch of other stuff.

Supplies

Trash bags

Black grocery bags

Trick or treat pumpkin bucket

Duct tape

Wire

Tomato cage

Oscilating fan

Witches hat

Small broomstick

Battery powered tea light candle

The Frame

Sorry that I don’t have any photos for this step.

I started by taking the tomato cage and sliding it over so that the wide side was at the bottom.

Next I took the little prongs from the top and bent them down and taped them to the top of the fan.

After I had put the frame on I started making the body, I did this by taking a trash bag and sliding it over the top and taping it at the bottom.

I then tore some strips of trash bags and taped them around the body like a skirt.

You’ll notice that mine looks a bit like a dalek, thats because I dropped my tomato cage.

The Shoulders

Next I took a black grocery bag and stuffed it with more bags, I then cut a circle from another bag and stuck it underneath after doing that I trimmed the top of the bag down and folded it inwards then I stuck it all onto the top of the fan.

The Head

I started by making a small hole in the bottom of the bucket and then sticking the bucket onto the shoulders,

After that I cut a wire that was long enough to go from the top of the fan to the tip of the witches hat.

Then I removed the handles and ran a wire through where they were I then bent the wire to hold the witches hat in place.

I left the arms mostly intact except for the fact that I added small strips of trash bag like the ones on Ghostface from Scream and made small incisions above them so that the air from the fan would blow them around.

I also added a small battery powered light in the head and attached a wire to the other arm so that the witch could hold a broomstick.

After everything else was done I added a long wire that goes from the base of the fan right up to the top of the head and attached that so that the shoulders and head wouldn’t fall off.

And lastly I cut a large hole in the back where the air intake is so that air could get in.

Thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed.
