Melty cheese and crispy fish sticks with a tangy tartar sauce! This is a go-to snack for me. So good.

Find out how many frozen fish sticks will fit on your bread. And air fry them at 360° for 10 minutes.

While the sticks are air frying, stir together some mayo, dill pickle relish, and a bop of fresh salsa.

Melt some butter in a medium hot pan. Then a slice of bread, a layer of American cheese, and then the hot fish sticks. Add another layer of cheese and the top slice of bread.

Put a cover over it to help get melty. Pull it off when its nice and brown. Add another knob of butter to the pan and flip the sandwich back on the heat. I usually lower the heat at this point and watch for that golden brown on the bottom.

Serve it warm with the tartar sauce.
