Glow in the Dark Pendants

Hello everyone! This time I bring you a very special tutorial, it's about some glow in the dark moons pendants, although you can choose, moons, planets, whatever you can think of. Let's start.

Hola a todos! Esta vez os traigo un tutorial muy especial, se trata de unos colgantes de lunas que brilla en la oscuridad, aunque puedes elegir, lunas, planetas, lo que se te ocurra. Empecemos.

• Prints on acetate paper
• UV resin
• Flashlight or UV lamp
• Glow-in-the-dark powder
• Pendant bases
• Tape paper
• Black permanent
• Chains

• Impresiones en papel acetato
• Resina UV
• Linterna o lámpara UV
• Polvo que brilla en la oscuridad
• Bases de colgante
• Papel celo
• Permanente negro
• Cadenas

Prepare the base, sticking it on the masking paper, it can be adhesive tape or special paper for this. Make sure it is well glued.

Prepara la base, pegándola en el papel celo, puede ser cinta adhesiva o papel especial para esto. Asegúrate de que esté bien pegado.

Pour in UV resin and glow-in-the-dark powders, mix it all with a toothpick and cure it with the flashlight or UV lamp.

Echa resina UV y polvos que brillan en la oscuridad, mézclalo todo con un palillo y cúralo con la linterna o lámpara UV.

When the first coat is dry, re-spray UV resin, drop the cut-out image and cure it again.

Cuando esté seca la primera capa, vuelve a echar resina UV, deja caer la imagen recortada y vuelve a curarlo.

For the moon I like to paint the black part so that it shows up better in the dark. I make dots with the marker and before it dries I use my finger to give it texture. I pour resin again and when it is completely hard it is ready.

Para la luna me gusta pintar la parte negra para que se vea mejor en la oscuridad. Le hago puntos con el rotulador y antes de que se seque uso mi dedo para darle textura. Vuelvo a echar resina y cuando esté completamente duro está listo.

Attach the hook and chain and you're done!

Coloca el gancho y la cadena y listo!

Here I have some images of other moons, the one I have made in this tutorial is the blue one. The images show how they glow. It's funny because I mixed the pink and blue powders and the color comes out pink but in the dark it looks white. I also mixed the lilac and blue powder, when there is light it looks purple, but in the dark it looks green.

Aquí tengo unas imágenes de otras lunas, la que he hecho en este tutorial es la azul. Las imágenes muestran como brillan. Es curioso porque mezclé los polvos rosas y azules y el color sale rosa pero en la oscuridad se ve blanco. También mezclé el polvo lila y azul, cuando hay luz se ve morado, pero en la oscuridad se ve verde.
