Glow in the Dark Frog
My name is Vivian, and I made a glow in the dark frog because frogs are my favorite animal.
Supplies
I used a 3D printer and created the frog on Fusion 360
Frog Body
I made the body of the frog by making a sketch of a half eclipse. The half eclipse was 3.5 inches long and 0.25 inches tall. I then revolved the half eclipse around the x axis.
Frog Arms
I made a sketch of an angled L with a 0.1 inch filet. The arms can be as long or as short as you'd like. I then made a circle with a diameter of 0.419 inches. I took the circle and made a sweep to create the arm. I made an arc the same way that I made the arm and attached the arc to the arm.
Frog Legs
I made the top of the frog legs by making a sketch of another half ellipse that has a length of 1.456 inches and a width of 0.353 inches. I made the bottom of the legs by making a sketch of an angled line. I created another circle with a diameter of 0.419 inches. I created a sweep again with the circle and line. the bottom can be as long or as short as you'd like.
Frog Feet
I made a sketch of a half triangle that was length of 0.216 inches and a height of 0.197 inches. I revolved the half triangle along the x axis. I make the actual foot with 3 ellipses, each at an angle. the ellipses can be as big or small as you'd like. They can also be as long or as short as you like. I revolved half of the ellipse along the x axis for each ellipse.
Frog Eyes
I made a sketch of a half circle that was 0.32 inches wide. I then revolved the circle along the x axis. I then added an extra detail by making a pupil for the eye. The pupil was extruded into the eye until only the shape shows on the inside of the eye. This is optional.
Frog Nose
I made 2 little circles both the diameter of 0.127 inches. I extruded the circles until there was only a hole showing where the circles were.
