Glass Bead Necklaces

Glass bead necklaces are extremely easy to make. They are also very pretty and the same method can make bracelets.

Supplies

Heres what you need:

Glass beads

Eyepins

Lobster claps

Jewellery pliers

Jump rings (optional I didn't need them)

Choose a Shade

I chose a beautiful purple shade for my necklace.

Take an eye pin

Place two beads onto the wire (quantity depends on length of eyepin mine are 20mm)

Place another eye pin loop above the beads

Looping

This is the trickiest part and takes a little practice however once you get the hang of it its really easy and you can make so many things using the technique.

Ive attached lots of photos hopefully to make it clear.

You get the eye pin and place your pliers right at the top.

Hold up your next eye pin with your other hand (it should be underneath the pliers but on top of the beads and their should be space)

Twist your pliers inwards

A loop should form and you can either close it by fully twisting the pliers or by pressing it shut once a hook is created.

Repeat

repeat over and over until your necklace is your desired length.

Adding the Lobster Clasp

You add this in a similar way you add the next eyepin.

Loop the wire till you get a hook shape.

Add the lobster clasp

Fully twist the wire until the lobster clasp is secure.

Make sure your lobster clasp works also.

Make As Many As You Want

These look so good on especially layered at different lengths.

They work with most outfits and are very pretty overall.
