This Garage Organizer is made to help solve the problem of losing track of where all of your tools are located. Instead of having wasted time searching for the correct tool that you need, it is readily available in front of your eyes. This was designed was for people who are always using their tools and need a more efficient way of locating what they need instantly.

Supplies

Materials that will be needed to create the Garage Tool Organizer are

- 8' X 4' Pegboard

- 2" X 4" 's X 4

- Wood Screws

- Washers that fit the screws used

- Pegboard Organizers

Location

- You will need to measure out and locate an efficient location for your tools, maybe a place where you will be working next to the tools that you need. I chose a location in front of my working space rather than the side because, I needed to keep the tools away from my vehicles that i will be working on in case something slips from my hand.

Gather Materials and Layout

Once you have gathered your materials you will need to locate the frame of the garage that the 2" X 4" 's will attach to. You will need to mark where your 4' X 8' Pegboard will be sitting. After making the marks measure out how long you will need to make your cuts on the 2" X 4", If you do not have a tool to cut the 2" x 4" 's you can buy smaller pre-cut wood and use those.

Installing 2" X 4" 's

Once you have the 2" X 4" 's cut to your desired length, instal tem with your screws and make sure that they are attached to the frame of the garage, if it is not then the preg board can detach from the wall and cause harm that could be prevented. Once the 2" X 4" 's are attached it will be better to have someone with you on the next step.

Installing Pegboard

You will need to have someone on both ends while installing the screws with the washers to hold up the pegboard. There will need to be at least six screws and washers to hold up the Pegboard, 4 one each corner and two more for the middle of the longer ends.

Hanging Your Tools

Use desired Organizers for where you want each of your tools to be. These can be bought from Harbor Freight Tools and do not cost too much. When placing your Pegboard Organizers make sure to space them accordingly so that the tools do not fall when you are removing them for use.
