This Instructable will you how to make a basic origami stairway. It is very easy to learn and can be completed by anyone. Try it. You might like it.

P.S. Keep in mind that this is my very first Instructable, but I hope that you will honestly speak your mind and comment.

First Thing's First: Collect Materials

All you will need for this little project is paper and scissors. However, if you wish, you can use your hands to rip the paper. I prefer scissors since it leaves a clean cut and allows you more control rather than tearing the paper.

Getting to Work

Fold the paper in half (the long way). Then fold it in half again then unfold the SECOND FOLD ONLY. The second fold is to help you when cutting.

Cut That Stuff

Now cut along the crease left from the second fold. Stop half way through. Remember, when cutting, start from the folded side and cut towards the two loose ends. The second picture depicts what it should look like when finished (with this step at least).

Now Bend Over

Folding the paper correctly is key in this step. If you mess up, you can easily fix it if you did not proceed to the next steps. Fold the loose quarter over on both sides. Then push the loose crease into the paper. It should look like the last picture.

Repeat step 2,3, and 4 on the folded half. You can do it as many times as you like to get the desired look. You even color in the steps if you want.
