Friendly Frankie

Whether you create Frankie on a large round bale of hay or a small rectangular bale of hay, he will welcome your Halloween visitors with a smile!

Supplies

Supplies:

1 sheet of paper

crayons

large round bale of hay (or a small rectangular bale)

Green, black, red, white, and gray spray paint

Two empty 101 oz. metal cans (I used old vegetable cans), with a ¾-inch hole in center of can bottom

Two 2-feet long 1/2-inch metal rods or sticks

Outline Frankie's Face

Use crayons to draw Frankie’s face on paper then use spray paints to replicate outline of pattern onto side of hay bale.

Finish Frankie's Face

Use each color of paint to spray hay bale to finish Frankie’s face, completely filling in features. 

Attach Cans to Sides of Frankie's Face

Spray cans gray. Use metal rods to attach cans onto sides of hay bale.
