French Hot Chocolate!

French Hot Chocolate is the perfect beverage to sip on after being out on a cold winter day, but not only is it delicious and warm but it is very easy to make.

Supplies

Tools:

To make this you need a stove top, a tall pan, measuring devices, an oven, a kitchen aid and a spoon.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups whole milk

1/2 cup cream

2 teaspoons powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 cup chocolate chips

1 cup heavy whipping cream (for serving)

Flavoring

To begin put milk, cream, powdered sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg over medium heat. Then stir it all together.

Adding Chocolate

Once your milk mixture is almost boiling remove it from heat and add chocolate chips. Stir them in until completely melted. Then leave it on low to stay warm.

Whipped Cream

While you Hot Chocolate is staying warm on low you can make some whipped cream! To do this put your heaving whipping cream into your kitchen aid and stir it at six. then mix for about five minutes or until desired consistency.

Now you can have as much fun as you want making your Hot Chocolate look appetizing! Once I put the whipped cream on top I sprinkled on some cinnamon this had a delicious looking affect!
