Frame Ready Kid Drawn Art
Our little one is 3 this year, and we love to give handmade gifts to our family members. This year, I got little guy in on the action by making these portraits for each family. Everyone loved these. They are frame-worthy and everyone we gifted one to loved it so much. Of course, you don't have to corner your kiddo into portraits, any drawings will work! And this idea is great for so many ages!
Supplies
- watercolor paper
- sharpie
- bleeding tissue paper squares
- water
- squirt bottle (optional)
- paintbrush
- frame
Draw Picture
Have your kiddo use a sharpie to draw a picture. We did portraits, but you can do anything! (And yes, I gave my 3 year old a sharpie. Use your discretion and strict supervision, if you like your walls and furniture.)
Bleeding Tissue Paper Squares
We sprayed the paper with a squirt bottle first, then added our tissue paper squares on top. Next, we used a wet paintbrush to make sure the tissue was saturated. Once the tissue paper squares are saturated, remove them from the paper. (this part can be a little bit messy and wet!)

FRAME IT!!!!!
Frame it and hang it up proudly, or wrap it up and give it as a gift. It is sure to be cherished for years!
