  1. Gather Your Supplies
  2. To start, take the foam pieces and place them on the headband to see how high you want the headpiece to go. I used one full foam piece, then two foam pieces i cut in half to make a total of 5 pieces.
    1. Use a sharpened pencil to puncture a small hole near the bottom of each foam piece (this will be for the ziptie)
    2. Starting with your full foam piece, place this in the middle top of the headband and pull a ziptie through and connect it through the holes of the headband. Continue this step with the foam half pieces - should have two on both sides of the main foam piece.
    3. Hot glue it together between the foam pieces for extra stability!
  3. Once you have the base of your headband together, now you will need to start arranging your floral pieces!
    1. I had pinecones, but I wasnt able to get them to stay (advice welcome)
    2. I started with my large fake flowers first, to build the piece up. I cut the stem of the flowers to a little bit longer than the depth of each foam piece. I then stuck the stem into the foam pieces where I wanted them to be, than secured the extra stem from the back of the headpiece with hot glue.
    3. Now fill in the blank foam pieces with your smaller flowers, leaves, and other items.
    4. BE CREATIVE!
  4. You can add more puncture holes in the foam as you go depending on how you designed. For example, I added two more holes to secure my birds nest along with hot glue (just in case)

And you're done! This headpiece can be heavy, so be sure to not where it for too long or you might become a bobblehead.

Base Frame Supplies:

  • Zip Ties, for extra support (I only used mini zipties)
  • Fake Flowers, Sticks, Leaves, and anything you would like to use!
