Easiest Way to Remove T-Post Without T-Post Puller

If you don’t have a t-post puller for metal posts you don’t have to buy an expensive puller from the store. Especially if it won’t be used a lot. You can just use the t-post driver as a fulcrum and a lever to pull it out. No other expensive tool needed. I hope this saves people time and money.

Slide T-post Driver Handle Over T-post

Use the t-post driver as a fulcrum lever to lift the t-post straight out, by sliding the t-post driver down the t-post, between one of the t-post driver handles and the body of the t-post driver, until it rests on the ground.

Wedge Handle Under T-post Notch

Make sure the handle is on the notched side of the t-post and the body of the t-post driver is on the opposite smooth side, wedge the handle under the notch.

Then lift up on the post. The t-post will become very tightly pinched between the handle and body of the t-post driver, with the protruding notch preventing the driver from sliding up the t-post. You might even have to beat upward on the notch. Pull up on it and keep sliding down a notch, until it’s out.
