Fashionable Clip on Earrings for Girls

Many little girls like myself do not have many options for earrings if our ears aren't pierced! So I took a trip with my mom to a local bead shop and I found supplies to make my own. These are easy to make and cute and fun to wear. I made them all by myself! And now you can, too.

Materials needed:

* 2 gold or silver clip bases ( cheaper if you buy a pack with many in it and then you can make more) these are found at bead stores, craft stores like Michael's and also online

*8 gold or silver metal jump rings - I used gold bases and silver jump rings and they kind of pop because of the different metals

*24 small seed beads, the color of your choice - I used 3 shades of pink: light pink, medium pink and an opalescent pink

*pliers, jewelry ones work best

First, take 1 jump ring and open it with pliers to slide 3 seed beads on it, and then put it on the clip base and close the jump ring with pliers. If you are using 3 different colors like I did, then make sure you use one of each color on each jump ring.

Open the 2nd jump ring and repeat the process of Step #1, but this time while it's open, attach it to the 1st jump ring and close with pliers.

Open the last jump ring with pliers and repeat the process as described above, attaching it to the 2nd ring. You have finished one elegant and fun drop earring!

Time to make a match for the 1st earring. Repeat all the steps above! You should now have a set to enjoy whether you have pierced ears or not. Enjoy!
